Before we birey upgrade the Azure AD Connect client, we need to make a backup of the configuration. Even though we will do an in-place upgrade, it’s always a good idea to export the configuration just in case.The installer will recognize the previous version and automatically do an upgrade. The synchronization will be stopped during the upgrade.
